Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Center Opens in March
Affectionately known as '63-story building' by everyone in the city, '63' is a symbol of Guangzhou, and home for the newest Crowne Plaza. Scheduled to open soon, the five-star hotel will welcome its first guests in March.

Once the tallest building in China and still lieing in the heart of Guangzhou, the iconic 63-story building located on Huanshi Dong Lu has been reborn through an impressive and complete renovation. With the opening of the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Center (广州中心皇冠假日酒店), '63' has reclaimed its place as a center of Guangzhou City in the hearts and minds of residents and visitors alike.

Affectionately known as '63' by everyone in the city from taxi-drivers to weathermen, '63' is a symbol of Guangzhou, and home for the newest Crowne Plaza in Greater China. With elegantly designed and appointed rooms offering commanding views of the Guangzhou skyline, coupled with Crowne Plaza's world-renowned business support services, the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Center aims to return the center of Guangzhou business back to the heights of '63.'

The lobby

Scheduled to open soon, the five-star Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Center will welcome its first guests in March. They will be the first to experience its 463 guest rooms and suites, selection of gourmet restaurants and lounges, fitness and recreation facilities, and business and conference support services.

Each guest room has been designed to answer the needs of the most demanding of guests, with 42" flat screen HDTVs and satellite programming, multi-platform docking stations for mobiles and music players, separate tubs and all the other amenities of a five-star hotel. The 73 club rooms offer guests exclusive access to the stylish 24-hour club lounge, where they can conduct business in the fully-equipped meeting rooms or just mingle with cocktails as they overlook the expanse of Guangzhou's skyline.

The conference and banquet facilities represent the state of the art and are truly worthy and the legacy of '63,' with 2000sqm of space, including a 985sqm pillarless grand ballroom offering 9-meter ceilings and full multimedia and translation support, as well as 10 smaller but equally well equipped multi-functional rooms.

The Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Center's gourmet restaurants serve food to tickle the most jaded of taste buds. Highlights of the hotel include Baiyuelou, a famous and historic restaurant specializing in traditional Cantonese Cuisine, Fresh, all-day, international dining hosted by engaging chefs in show-kitchen food stations, and Chopstix, a quick and tasty snack restaurant that features while-you-wait hand-made noodles, dim sum and more.
