Banaba & golden shower flowers add colors to Guangzhou

It is now the blossoming season for Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa, 大花紫薇) & golden shower tree (cassia fistula, 腊肠树, 黄金雨) in Guangzhou, whose purple flowers and golden flowers are adding more beauty to the City of Flowers.
Banaba is a type of crepe myrtle that popularly grows in Asian countries like India, the Philippines, and China's Guangdong. Its leaves can be used as medicine.
