Diverse exhibitions underway in Guangzhou in September

Featuring from paintings to wares and bags, here are four ongoing exhibitions in Guangzhou. Let's see if you are interested in one of them!

Work of Nature in Blue-and-green Landscape: Research Exhibition on Colours of Landscape Painting 
Focusing on the research of colours, the exhibition introduces the materials and painting techniques of traditional Chinese blue-and-green landscape paintings and showcases some of the representative artworks from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

In addition, there is an experience corner at the exhibition, which provides pigments and tools for visitors to paint and feel the charm of blue-green landscape paintings.

Vogue of the Golden Age: Tang Dynasty Gold and Silver Exhibition 

Around 60 pieces of gold and silver wares from the Tang Dynasty collected by Guangzhou Oriental Museum are on display at the Guangzhou Peasant Movement Institute, Yuexiu district of Guangzhou.

The exhibits are various in kind and diverse in shape, reflecting the culture and folk customs, people's life and foreign exchanges in the Tang Dynasty. The exquisite and delicate wares will leave a strong visual impression to visitors.(Photo/WeChat Account "广州东方博物馆")

Bags: Inside Out Exhibition 
Lemiere, opera bag and contents in 1910, Paris

Co-organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Britain and Taikoo Hui in Guangzhou's Tianhe district, a bag-themed exhibition is ongoing at the Taikoo Hui.

Divided into three sections — Fashion and Utility, Status and Identity and Design and Making, the exhibition displays over 240 unique and valuable bags from around the world. Visitors can learn about the history and stories of these bags.

Daydream Theater 

By drawing smooth lines with warm colours, artist Er Lili has created a lovely girl who loves daydreaming and a little monster turned from the girl's tears. 

Er Lili presented 13 paintings on canvas, four CG creations, two sculptures and one cartoon based on these two images in the exhibition, hoping her works can heal people and give strength to those with troubles.(Photo/儿力力)
