Natural feast: Four spectacular exhibitions await in Guangzhou!

From August 9 through October, Yuntai Garden and Yunluo Botanical Garden in Guangzhou's Baiyun district will host four major themed exhibitions — the Sunflower Exhibition, the Siam Tulip Exhibition, the Lingnan Banyan Tree Cultural Exhibition, and the Butterfly Specimen Exhibition. Whether you are looking to relax or capture stunning photos, this natural feast is not to be missed!


【Sunflower Exhibition】


⭐ Highlights: It features 15 varieties and over 10,000 sunflowers, offering rich diversity and a grand scale.

⏰ Time: Opens on August 15

📍 Venues: Along the main road of Yuntai Garden; along Jihu West Road, the Rock Garden of the Aromatic Plant Garden, and the Feast Square of Yunluo Botanical Garden


【Siam Tulip Exhibition】


⭐ Highlights: This exhibition features 1,500 Siam tulips of 10 varieties, with colors ranging from pink-white and pale purple to light red.

⏰ Time: Opens on August 15

📍 Venue: Along the outdoor route of the Orchid Garden at Yunluo Botanical Garden


【Lingnan Banyan Tree Cultural Exhibition】


⭐ Highlights: China's first themed exhibition dedicated to the Lingnan banyan tree, featuring a dual-display model combining indoor science education with outdoor real-scene viewing.

📍 Venues: Indoor exhibition area in the Second-floor Exhibition Hall, Lysidice Square of Yunluo Botanical Garden; Outdoor exhibition area in the Rainforest Plant Garden of Yunluo Botanical Garden


【Butterfly Specimen Exhibition】


⭐ Highlights: Over 100 butterfly specimens are on display. The indoor exhibition zone features specimens of Golden Kaiserihind — the only butterfly species under China's national first-class protection. Additionally, an outdoor live butterfly viewing area is open to visitors.

⏰ Time: Ongoing (from August 9)

📍 Venues: Indoor viewing in the Second-floor Exhibition Hall, Lysidice Square of Yunluo Botanical Garden; Outdoor viewing areas including Feast Square, Jiuqu Flower Steps, Cypress Wetland in Yunluo Botanical Garden.

🎫 Admission: All exhibitions are free to visit. Visitors only need to purchase the Gardens entry ticket.

🚅 How to get there: Take a bus to Yuntai Garden Terminal or Baiyun Cableway Stop (白云索道站), or take Guangzhou Metro Line 11 to Yuntai Garden Station (云台花园站).
