Have you ever dreamed of walking on water? Well, this is the closest you can get — without any kung fu skills, just you and a giant lily pad.

With the Victoria amazonica blooming in the peak of summer, the much-anticipated pad ride at the South China National Botanical Garden will run on weekends from August 1 to September 30 this year, inviting visitors to sit atop giant lily leaves in the greenhouse pond and enjoy an exclusive summer romance.
As a signature summer aquatic plant, the giant, round lily pad has thick, tough leaves with outstanding load-bearing capacity, strong enough to support an adult floating on the water, like a natural, serene lily boat.

The experience is fully supervised by professional staff to ensure your safety from start to finish. No advance reservation is required; visitors under 60 kilograms can sign up and pay on-site to participate.
