As one of the highly influential traditional sports events in Guangzhou, the Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament will make its much-anticipated return next Saturday (June 20).

The tournament will be held on the section of the Pearl River between the Square at the North Gate of Sun Yat-sen University and Guangzhou Bridge.

The competition features a 600-meter straight race for 22-person dragon boats, divided into four categories: Men's Open, Women's Open, Men's International, and University Division. In addition, there will be two exhibition events: a 600-meter straight race for traditional dragon boats and a colorful dragon boat parade, showcasing the unique charm of Lingnan traditional culture.
