As International Women's Day approaches, Conghua district in Guangzhou welcomes its most stunning blossom season. To celebrate, we have put together this exclusive flower-viewing guide — inviting you to join the splendid floral feast.

(1) Cherry Blossoms

Location: Wuzhi Mountain Scenic Area in Liuxihe National Forest Park (流溪河国家森林公园五指山景区)

Flowering Period: Late January to March; still in full bloom in early March

(2) Peach Blossoms

Location: Jindong Peach Blossom Town (锦洞桃花小镇)

(3) Sunflowers

Location: Pujin Village, Aotou Town (鳌头镇铺锦村)

Highlights: A vast sea of golden sunflowers across nearly 100 mu is in full bloom. This spot is open to the public free of charge until the end of March.

(4) Rapeseed Flowers 

Location: Shimen National Forest Park (石门国家森林公园)

Viewing Period: Through early April

(5) Golden Trumpet Trees

Location: Hot Spring Scenic Area in Wenquan town, Fengyunling Forest Park, Conghua Avenue North and Sancun Village in Lvtian Town (温泉风景区、风云岭森林公园、从化大道北、吕田镇三村村)

Flowering Period: Mid-to-late February to early March (The flowering period is extremely short, only 10 to 15 days. It is now the prime viewing time, so an early visit is highly recommended.)

(6) Kapok Flowers

Location: Conghua Urban Area, Hot Spring Scenic Area in Wenquan town, Mumian Village in Taiping Town, Fengyunling Forest Park and along the Liuxi River (从化城区、温泉风景区、太平镇木棉村、风云岭森林公园、流溪河沿岸)

Flowering Period: Late February to April (Full bloom from March to April with a long flowering period, allowing for off-peak visits.)
