Look at the hair, the creases in the clothes, the subtle outline of the figure's arm beneath the clothing… Can you believe this is a figure carved from white porcelain?

A stunning Dehua porcelain exhibition at the Guangdong Museum of Art showcases these incredibly well-crafted masterpieces.

Among them is the showstopper "Myth," a piece that once caused a sensation at the National Museum of China in Beijing. Created by artist Lian Deli, the figure's gauze clothing is a mere 0.2 millimeters thin — pushing the limits of what is possible in clay.
The exhibition is jointly presented by the Guangdong Museum of Art and the Dehua County Ceramic Development Committee.
