The 2026 Greater Bay Area Lantern Festival is set to light up on February 10. Currently, skilled artisans from across the country are on site, constructing five themed exhibition areas. Tens of thousands of colorful lanterns and hundreds of dazzling installations will soon be unveiled.The 2026 Greater Bay Area Lantern Festival is set to light up on February 10. Currently, skilled artisans from across the country are on site, constructing five themed exhibition areas. Tens of thousands of colorful lanterns and hundreds of dazzling installations will soon be unveiled.

Spanning an area of 800 mu (approximately 53 hectares) with a main tour route of 2.5 kilometers, this edition of the festival will feature over a hundred large-scale themed lantern installations. It also includes nearly a thousand special performances and activities. 

The festival will run until May 10, lasting for a total of 90 days.
