On January 15, the launch ceremony for the "Guangdong Goods Global Reach" Spring Initiative was held in Foshan. The event featured a live-streaming zone showcasing flagship products from over 30 leading home appliance manufacturers across Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Foshan, and Zhongshan. Multi-platform, matrix-style live commerce sessions were conducted simultaneously.

Quality Upgrade: Guangdong Goods Go Global
The event displayed a wide array of home appliances, ranging from major items like refrigerators and washing machines to small appliances such as rice cookers and coffee makers.
"People used to bring rice cookers back from Japan, but that's no longer the case. Now, even friends from Southeast Asia are coming to Guangdong for rice cookers," said Lin Ning, a senior cooking product planner at Midea, during the event.
Currently, Guangdong-made small appliances like rice cookers boast world-class manufacturing standards, driving a global surge in demand for these products.

Home Appliances 'on Wheels' to Build Human-Vehicle-Home Ecosystem
Amid the rapid growth of China's new energy and smart connected vehicle industries, home appliance companies are seizing the business opportunity of integrating "refrigerators, TVs, and large sofas" into electric vehicles.
Currently, vehicle-mounted refrigerators represent the most mature "on-board" technology. With their expanding applications in yachts, RVs, trucks, commercial vehicles, and sedans, Guangdong appliance manufacturers have overcome key technical challenges, such as ensuring mobility, portability, and stability against bumps and tilts. As more small appliances become vehicle-compatible, Guangdong goods are poised to build a sophisticated human-vehicle-home ecosystem.
