The blooming period of the purple trumpet tree is notably long, with peak flowering lasting from December through February of the following year.

How to get there: Take Metro Line 6 or Line 8 to Cultural Park Station (文化公园站).

Location: South China Agricultural University (Advance reservation required) 

How to get there: Take Metro Line 3 to Wushan Station (五山站).

Location: Riverside section of Daganwei Road, Haizhu district (海珠区大干围沿江路段)

How to get there: Take Metro Line 10 to Exit A of Daganwei Station (大干围站), then take Bus No. 87 or No. 530 to Daganwei Stop.

Location: Xinyang Village, Shiling Town, and Hexiyuan, Chini Town, Huadu district (花都区狮岭镇新扬村、赤坭镇荷溪苑)
