The plum blossom, known as "meihua" (梅花) in Chinese, is a beloved flower in China.



Recently, Guangzhou Plum Blossoms Viewing Season kicked off at Guangzhou Liuxi River National Forest Park. The park features a plum blossom area of 3,000 mu, where nearly 100,000 trees are now in full bloom. Viewed from afar, the blooming plum trees look as if they are covered with snow.


According to a park staff member, the best viewing period is expected to last for a month and attract approximately 100,000 visitors.


It boasts the largest plum blossom areas in Southeast Asia.

How to get there: Take Guangzhou metro line 14 to Exit A of Conghua Coach Terminal station, then take bus No. 12 to the Forest Park stop.
