China's New Year holiday is a three-day public holiday from January 1 to 3, with New Year's Day itself falling on January 1.

In light of this, Guangzhou Metro has announced enhanced services for the upcoming New Year's holiday period. The operator is bolstering transport capacity, passenger services, and equipment maintenance to ensure safe and smooth journeys for residents celebrating New Year's Eve and the holiday period.

To facilitate celebrations, extended operating hours will be implemented on key dates. The specific arrangements are detailed below.
