Guangzhou set to hold 15th National Games mascot carnival

During the 15th National Games, the mascots Xiyangyang and Lerongrong have become internet sensations. To further build on their popularity, Guangzhou is not only advancing the construction of a mascot IP-themed park but will also hold a mascot carnival at the South Square of the Olympic Sports Center ahead of the Spring Festival.
Xiyangyang and Lerongrong will also make appearances at a series of upcoming events in Guangzhou, such as the Guangzhou Marathon, traditional flower markets, and the Baietan Spring Festival fireworks display.
Meanwhile, major events in other cities are extending invitations to the mascots, including the ITTF Asian Cup scheduled for Haikou next March.
