A new exhibition at the Guangdong Museum in Guangzhou, capital city of Guangdong province, is highlighting the shared historical and cultural roots of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, underscoring their inseparable ties with the Chinese mainland.

Titled "Love and Memory of the Greater Bay Area — Historical and Cultural Relics of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Since the 19th Century", the exhibition opened on November 11 and will run until March 8.

More than 350 cultural relics are on display, tracing the social, economic, and cultural evolution of the Greater Bay Area over the past century. The exhibits reflect how the three regions, though separated by rivers and sea, have maintained a common ancestry, shared traditions, and enduring cultural affinity.

"Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao" is not merely a geographical concept, but also a form of identity recognition and an important link that binds Hong Kong and Macao closely to the motherland by blood.
