What does living in Guangzhou feel like? — Like crafting the perfect cocktail. That’s how Serguio Calle, a Peruvian student at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, describes it. In his free time, he works as a trainee bartender at a hotel partnered with the Canton Fair.

In a recent interview, Serguio shared his unique bond with the city: familiar flavors, a multilingual environment, and the Cantonese dialogues from Wong Kar-wai films all make him feel at home.

Serguio hopes to build his future right here in Guangzhou. Because here, just like mixing drinks — life offers endless combinations, and endless possibilities.
