On October 29, the first full-dress rehearsal of the 15th National Games opening ceremony, with an audience, was held at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center Stadium in Guangzhou.

The ceremony will blend Lingnan cultural icons such as lion dance, Cantonese opera and dragon boat racing with AI, VR and robotics, creating a dialogue between tradition and modernity.

The rehearsal tested the full security process, from remote assembly to on-site smart access control using facial recognition. With all systems now in place, Guangzhou is entering the final sprint toward the grand opening on November 9.
