GZ to host major low-altitude economy expo in December, as experts urge infrastructure & talent boost

The International Low-altitude Economy Expo (Guangzhou) & the 8th Global Unmanned Systems Conference will take place this December in Guangzhou, with industry leaders highlighting infrastructure and talent as key development priorities.


Announced at an October 23 press conference, the expo will run from December 12–14 at the Canton Fair Complex, featuring over 60,000 square meters of exhibitions. Top companies including EHang, Xpeng AeroHT, DJI, and XAG have signed up, with more than 600 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors expected from over 50 countries and regions.


Noel Farrell, Chairman of CloudWings General Aviation (Dongguan) and former professional pilot from Ireland, noted that infrastructure and talents are the most urgent issues to be addressed for the low-altitude sector in the Greater Bay Area. The event aims to accelerate collaboration and tackle these critical challenges.
