The 12th Guangzhou Marathon is scheduled to take place on December 21 (Sunday), 2025, with an entry quota of 26,000 participants. Registration for the race had opened and was closed on September 28 at 6 p.m. The route runs alongside the Pearl River, offering runners a unique tour of scenic spots, cultural landmarks, and striking modern architecture.
In 2025, the Organizing Committee will continue to strive for high-quality runner services and diverse activities, aiming to establish the Guangzhou Marathon as a premier sporting and cultural event for the city.
