Cultural Park Mid-Autumn Lantern Show illuminates National Day Holiday

The 2025 Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival at Guangzhou Cultural Park, under the theme "Passionate National Games, Vibrant Liwan", will be open to the public from October 1 to 8, 2025. This year's event will feature 27 large and medium-sized lantern sets and nearly 2,000 ambient lights, all available for free viewing.
A highlight will be Guangzhou's first lantern display of the National Games mascot. Its lively and charming design will enhance the festive atmosphere in celebration of the 15th National Games.
This year's lantern show also introduces multiple technical innovations, which include the first-time integration of traditional lantern-making with modern printing techniques and COB LED strips, offering visitors a fresh and immersive visual experience.
Throughout the festival, a variety of cultural activities will be held daily, including lantern riddle guessing, singing and dance performances, and traditional storytelling.
