World's top sprinters descend on Guangzhou: trial runs took place on May 9, "took off" on May 10

The Guangzhou 2025 World Athletics Relays was held from May 10 to 11 at the newly renovated Tianhe Sports Center. On May 8, competing teams arrived in Guangzhou, and athletes conducted adaptation training at the Tianhe Sports Center's auxiliary field.
On May 9, competitors entered the main stadium to familiarize themselves with starting gun procedures and tested the track. The qualifying rounds kicked off at 7 p.m. on May 10.
The athletes appeared relaxed and highly praised Guangzhou's facilities, weather conditions and local cuisine.
