Kapok trees bloom in Guangzhou's Nanhai God Temple.
These artworks feature eight native plants in Guangzhou's Nanhai God Temple, including banyan tree, kapok tree, jackfruit, lychee, and longan.
The pith paintings are now part of the museum's collection and will be used primarily for educational purposes.
Pith painting, an art form that originated in Guangzhou, gained significant popularity among foreign merchants in the 19th century.
