Guangzhou enterprises explore East Africa market opportunities

The 2025 Guangzhou Enterprises "Going Global" East Africa Market Expansion Exchange Event, jointly hosted by the Guangzhou CPPIT and the GICC, was held on February 13.
The event, themed "Seizing Opportunities in East Africa, Exploring a New China — Africa Blue Ocean", aligned closely with the Belt and Road Initiative and the spirit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
Its goal was to establish an efficient platform for connecting Guangzhou enterprises with the East African market, thereby deepening exchanges and cooperation in fields such as industrial manufacturing and trade investment.
Approximately 140 representatives from the Canton Chambers of Commerce in East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania), Guangzhou enterprises and institutions, the Guangzhou CPPIT, and related industry associations attended the event.
