When autumn comes to Guangzhou, many people in the city go to parks and mountains to "jian qiu", literally means "pick autumn". "Jian qiu" originally referred to the practice of farmers collecting leftover grain after the autumn harvest to avoid waste. Today, it has become a new way of outdoor exercising and capturing the romance of autumn. After the "treasure hunting", some "pickers" even turn fallen leaves and fruits into works of art to decorate their homes.
