The popularity of Hanfu (ancient Chinese clothing) among young people in Guangzhou is growing. In recent years, it has become increasingly common to see young people dressed in Hanfu on the streets, particularly during traditional festivals.
Hanfu shops sprout like mushrooms near renowned tourist attractions such as Yongqingfang, Liwan Lake Park and Guangzhou Cultural & Arts Centre. These shops offer a wide range of Hanfu items, with styles spanning from the Tang dynasty to the Ming dynasty. In addition to this, many shops also provide makeup and photography services for visitors.
