A special exhibition featuring the China-France cultural encounters in the 17th and 18th centuries will open at Hong Kong Palace Museum on December 18 and will run until May 4, 2025, presenting nearly 150 spectacular treasures, primarily from the Palace Museum and the Palace of Versailles.

The special exhibition titled “The Forbidden City and the Palace of Versailles” explores the fascinating encounters between China and France in science, technology, arts, culture, and philosophy during the 17th to the 18th centuries.
