The 136th China Import and Export Fair, popularly known as the Canton Fair, has recently concluded its first phase. The second phase of the fair will start from October 23-27.

To better facilitate overseas buyers attending the fair, WeChat has launched a translation function for its mini programs. The function supports 18 languages, including English, French, German, Japanese, Italian, etc..

Following the steps below, users are able to understand every mini program easily.

1. Download or upgrade to the latest version of WeChat

2. Open a mini program

3. Click the button in the top right-hand corner

4. Click the "translation" button

5. Switch to the desired language

Meanwhile, WeChat has simplified the registration process for using Weixin Pay, allowing users to skip the identity verification process for transactions in small amount. Users can just enter card number, expiry date, and security code to add their overseas bank cards. With Weixin Pay and the translation function, expats in China now can easily use WeChat for activities such as ordering food, making scenic spot reservations, and using public transport.
