Convenient services provided for Canton Fair visitors

During the 136th Canton Fair, Guangzhou is providing guests with a comprehensive range of services covering dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment, ensuring visitors from all over the world to travel with convenience and enjoy their time in Guangzhou.


Guangzhou Metro one-day pass


During this year’s Canton Fair, Guangzhou Metro has launched a Canton Fair-themed one-day pass ticket priced at 20 yuan. The day pass is available for purchase at metro stations such as Pazhou, Xingangdong (新港东), Guangzhou South Railway Station, Airport South, and Airport North. It is the first time that Guangzhou Metro has introduced a one-day ticket themed around Canton Fair. Passengers holding the ticket can enjoy unlimited rides on the Guangzhou Metro within 24 hours of their first entry, without the need to purchase multiple tickets, making it easier to explore Guangzhou.


Special shuttle bus between Canton Fair Complex and Baiyun International Airport


During this year’s Canton Fair (excluding the exhibition change period), the city's transportation department is operating a dedicated shuttle bus line between the Canton Fair Complex and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.


The drop-off and pick-up point at the Canton Fair Complex is located at the intersection of Zhanchang Zhonglu (展场中路) and Zhanchang Nanlu (展场南路). The pick-up points at Baiyun International Airport are at Gate 1 of Area A at Terminal 1, Gate 11 of Area B at Terminal 1, and the West Passenger Station at Terminal 2.


The service from Baiyun International Airport to the Canton Fair Complex runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., while the service from the Complex to the airport operates from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.. During off-peak hours, there will be a bus every 30 to 45 minutes, and during peak hours, the frequency will be adjusted based on passenger flow.


Public bus service


Guangzhou city’s transportation department has also opened a temporary bus route from Canton Fair Complex to Liuhua Lu (流花路), with the pick-up zone located in Zhanchang Zhonglu.


Special reminder: For the first four days of each exhibition phase, the bus operates from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; on the last day, the operating hours are from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m..


Currently, regular bus routes passing by the Canton Fair Complex include: Bus Nos. 229, 239, 262, 304, 582, 763, Higher Education Mega Center Special Line 3, Tour Sightseeing Line 1, Tour Bus Line 3, and B7 Express.


One-stop souvenir shopping service


At the 136th Canton Fair, a "Must-Buy" City Gift Expo is held for the first time, featuring a wide selection of products with Guangzhou characteristics. They are being showcased in Area D, Hall 19.1, titled "Canton Store," across three phases of the fair.


The offerings include local Cantonese cuisine, crafts rich in historical and cultural significance, well-regarded local bags, clothing, and cosmetic products, as well as cutting-edge and innovative technology products to meet diverse consumer needs. The products are divided into four categories: fashionable items, innovative creations, fine Cantonese delicacies, and exquisite Lingnan crafts.


Let’s take a look at some of the distinctive products:


Linqi horse-face skirt elaborately combines traditional Chinese elements with fashionable design.


Monsca riding suitcase will be a perfect mobility tool for buyers at the Canton Fair.


“Buddha Jumps Over the Wall” is a famous Cantonese dish made from 23 ingredients, including seafood such as abalone, sea cucumber, and fish maw.


The special gambiered Guangdong gauze sachets contain a variety of Chinese herbs, emitting a natural medicinal aroma that helps to calm the mind.
