1. Guangzhou Nansha Yacht Club
As one of the largest yacht clubs in South China, it was also one of the shooting locations of Mermaid, a blockbuster directed by Hong Kong director and comedian Stephen Chow.
Viewing from a distance, you can observe Humen (虎门) Bridge, one of the landmark cross-sea bridges in Guangdong province. You are also free to set sail from the dock where many yachts and sailboats berth.

Transportation: Get off at Exit A of Jiaomen (蕉门) Station, Guangzhou Metro Line 4, then take South No. 3 bus and get off at Nanbeitai (南北台) Station and walk to the club
2. European town cultural vitality park
Located in Aranya Jiulong Lake (九龙湖) Ecological Resort, the partially-open European-style park is big enough for tourists to spend several hours to explore.
Walking into the park, you may notice an industrial-style church.
It becomes a knockout for its rusty-red metal frame together with gray concrete and uncapped design.

3. Shamian (沙面) Island
Shamian Island is constituted of sculptures and evergreen trees alongside with over 150 European-style architectures, which comprise Baroco-style and pseudo-gothic-style ones.

Besides, buildings featuring Lingnan style such as qilou (arcade houses) and bamboo houses, are distributed on the island. And posh coffee houses, restaurants and art galleries also abound.

4. Yanjiang Xilu (沿江西路)
Yanjiang Xilu used to be the most bustling commercial hub by the Pearl River in Guangzhou, witnessing the beginning of the modernization of the city.

Rambling on the road, you may come across a number of time-enduring spots, including Aiqun (爱群) Building, Xinhua (新华) Hotel, the Canton Customs Mansion, Guangzhou Postal Museum and Nanfang Mansion.

When curtain of night falls, Yanjiang Xilu is illuminated by lights of buildings, which decorate the street jointly with the Pearl River and night sky.

5. Liuhua Lake (流花湖) Park
In Liuhua Lake Park, quite a few people like taking pictures of the iconic White Castle located on the center of the lake.

Meanwhile, the park has a large area dotted with more than 20 scenic spots. And the European-style buildings are in harmony with the cypress forest.

6. Yuntai (云台) Garden
Yuntai Garden was designed based on the Butchart Gardens, a national historic site and a horticultural attraction in British Columbia, Canada. There are several prime spots for visitors to take photos with, such as the fountain, the colonnades, the lawn, the windmills and the greenhouse.
In the garden, flowers bloom through all seasons. And if you are lucky enough, you can see a rainbow arch over the fountain.
