Action-packed music season set to take place in Guangzhou

As golden autumn comes, the first Haixinsha Music Season and the tenth Music "Home" Festival hosted by Xinghai Conservatory of Music will lift the curtain in the city of Guangzhou this month and last through December. The music gala aims to go beyond the confines of a closed campus and build a connection between high art and the public.

As the only institution of higher learning in music in South China, Xinghai Conservatory of Music has nurtured a great number of talented musicians. It is expected to bring audiences to a diversified audio-visual feast across borders with rich art and musical performances.

To fulfill the aesthetic needs of audiences of different backgrounds, the music season will feature 111 concerts performed by musicians and orchestras from 17 countries, covering multiple domains and styles, including vocal music, chamber music, piano, folk music and jazz, alongside with music pieces that combine classical and jazz, styles of the east and the west, as well as traditional and avant-garde styles.
