On July 5, more than 30,000 people swarmed into Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, a renowned traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Guangzhou city, to receive the first wave of San Fu Moxibustion treatment.
According to the Chinese lunar calender, the three hottest periods in summer are known as san fu.
Chinese people believe that moxibustion in summer can cure many winter diseases.
