It's been five years since China published the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The last five years have shown that a region that occupies less than one percent of the entire nation contributes nearly one-ninth of the country's GDP. CGTN's reporter Xu Hua takes us to explore the driving force behind this achievement and to see how the region is creating a world-class business and innovation hub. Her first stop is Nansha district, a place positioned as a state-level new area, pilot free trade zone and demonstration zone for comprehensive cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
