Alexandrine parrots, classified as second-class protected wildlife in the National Key Protected Wildlife List, can be frequently observed in Liuhua Lake Park in downtown Guangzhou. With vibrant green and blue feathers and the ability to mimic human language, they are favored by many photographers and citizens.
A pair of Alexandrine parrots were captured by a photographer surnamed Huang, who took photos and videos of the birds for four consecutive years. During this period, Huang observed the parrots engaging in various behaviors, including mating, incubating, and raising their young. Let’s appreciate some of the precious moments.
In addition to the parrots, the park is home to a number of swallows, which are busy catching insects and feeding their little ones in this season. These activities create visually appealing scenes for visitors to enjoy.
