When summer comes, various seasonal fruits in Guangzhou's Conghua district are ready to pick and eat. Here are some fruit picking spots in the area. Let's follow SilkRoadPost and choose your favorite one!

1.Early plum

Early plums are small to medium in size, and resemble emeralds in the sun. The thin-skinned fruit is sour, sweet and crisp, with dense and juicy flesh.

Picking time: mid-May

Location: Guifeng village, Lvtian town, Conghua district (从化区吕田镇桂峰村)

2. Blueberry

Strings of plump blueberries hanging under green leaves will no doubt make fruit lovers mouth-watering.

Carrying a small basket and walking into the orchard, visitors can enjoy the tart and sweet fruit right away.

Picking time: May

Locations:

(1) Langu Blueberry Orchard, Yinlin village, Taiping town, Conghua district (从化区太平镇银林村蓝谷蓝莓园)

(2) Xianju Orchard, Wenquan town, Conghua district (从化区温泉镇仙居果庄)

3. Grumichama

Grumichama, or Brazilian cherries, with its green, red, and purple hues, can be spotted in the Shangluo village on Jiangpu street.

These fruits are rich in vitamins and trace elements, and have significant anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

When they're ripe, their skin turns deep purple, and they become juicy and soft.

4. Jaboticaba

Jaboticaba, is a Brazilian fruit tree that produces grape-like fruits with high nutritional and antioxidant value. It is juicy and sweet. And it is amazing that you can taste four kinds of fruits from it, including mangosteen, guava, sugar apple, and pineapple.

Picking time: early May

Locations:

(1) Xiangmi Xiaozhen, Lvtian town, Conghua district (从化区吕田镇香蜜小镇)

(2) Jixiang Orchard, Xihe village, Chengjiao street, Conghua district (从化区城郊街西和村吉祥果场)

(3) Huangxi village, Taiping town, Conghua district (从化区太平镇黄溪村)

5. Sanhua plum

Sanhua plum, a fruit native to Guangdong province, is planted widely in Conghua's Lvtian town.

Thanks to enough sunlight, abundant rainfall, and big day-night temperature difference in the region, Sanhua plums planted here are especially crisp and tasty.

Picking time: mid-May to mid-June

Locations: Lianfeng, Guifeng, Sancun, Lianma and Xinlian villages, Lvtian town, Conghua district (从化吕田镇联丰村、桂峰村、三村村、莲麻村、新联村)
