Dazzling drone shows in GZ to celebrate the Spring Festival

To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, two stunning drone performances will be put on at 7:30 p.m. on February 12 and 13 in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.
Each show will feature 2,400 drones flying over the Pearl River (between Haixinsha and Canton Tower section), and will last for approximately 20 minutes.
According to the media outlet, a total of nine groups of eye-catching formations will light up the night sky, highlighting traditional Lingnan culture.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the dazzling shows at the south square of Huacheng Square or the northwest square of Haixinsha (the red and blue areas).
Registration could be made through the official WeChat account of "中国广州发布" (id: ZGGZFABU) for an entry draw. The registration channel was closed at 11:59 p.m. on February 7, and the final result of the draw will be announced on February 9.
It is worth noting that during the performances, Haixinsha Island will be temporarily closed, while Haixinsha and Guangzhou Opera House metro stations of APM line and the wharf in the west area of Haixinsha will also take measures to control the passenger flow.
