Guangzhou Zhujiang World Real Ice Curling Hall, the first real ice curling hall in South China, was inaugurated at the Guangzhou Stadium on January 9. Subsequently, the 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Curling Invitational Tournament kicked off, marking the start of the 10th National Popular Ice and Snow Season (Guangdong).

This curling hall is the first in the Greater Bay Area to meet international standards, with state-of-the-art curling venue technology and equipment, as well as a team of professional curling coaches. The venue features three competition-standard tracks, covering an ice surface area of 600 square meters. It is equipped with fully automated temperature control technology and has a dedicated team for facility maintenance, ensuring that it can cater to the needs of competitions, professional training, corporate team building, high-end events, business networking, parent-child sports, health and leisure activities, among others.

In the future, it will serve as the primary venue for domestic and international competitions, as well as sports team training, further promoting the popularization of youth ice and snow sports in Guangzhou.
