Because of low-price admission and people's enthusiasm towards animals, Guangzhou Zoo has reported increasing visitor flow during weekends and holidays. In order to provide better services for visitors, the zoo announced on the evening of March 17 that it will roll out an online ticket reservation system for the first time and will gradually realize all tickets to be sold online.

According to the announcement, about 35,000 tickets will be offered online in four time periods every day in the initial phase. Animal lovers can purchase the tickets through the official WeChat accounts "广州动物园" and "广州动物园票务", or WeChat mini program "同程旅行". When ordering tickets, they can clearly know which period has fewer bookings so that they can avoid visiting the zoo with the crowd.

Meanwhile, buying tickets offline is still available for visitors at the moment.
