Purple trumpet flowers are blooming in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, attracting both locals and tourists to take photos and feel the beauty of winter. 

Trumpet trees with purple trumpet-shaped flowers typically blossom from December to February in Guangzhou, coinciding with holidays such as New Year’s Day, the Spring Festival, and Lantern Festival (or Yuanxiao Festival). 

Purple trumpet flowers can be seen at popular destinations such as Cultural Park in Liwan district, Dongchong town (东涌镇) in Nansha district, Area D of Canton Fair Complex in Haizhu district, and Liede village (猎德村) in Tianhe district.
