Green Car China — the “2nd China (Guangzhou) International New Energy, Energy-saving and Intelligent Cars Exhibition” — will be held at the Poly World Trade Center Expo from July 21-23.

After two years of cultivation and development, the exhibition is recognized for its specialization, scale and forums. The event is South China’s largest professional exhibition highlighting the new energy sector.

Under the theme, "interconnecting all things for smart travel," the exhibition features two pavilions for new energy vehicles and intelligent vehicles. Areas have been set up to showcase new energy passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, intelligent vehicles, charging facilities, power batteries, scientific testing and the new energy industry base. The total exhibition area exceeds 35,000 square meters.

More than 110 enterprises in the sectors of new energy, energy savings, intelligent vehicles and key core technology from Mainland China, Germany, Canada, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macao will participate in the exhibition. The number of visitors is expected to reach 55,000. Ten forums will be held, with 8,000 professionals participating.

To follow the trend of new energy vehicles becoming electric, intelligent and Internet-connected, major car manufacturers have given more emphasis to research and development, bringing forth a great number of new models and technologies. Major industry players — including FAW, Dongfeng, Changan, BAIC, GAC, SAIC, JAC, BYD, Chery, Geely, Teng, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volvo, Lexus, Tesla and Toyota — will exhibit their new energy, energy-saving and intelligent passenger vehicles. The show will offer attendees an opportunity to see the latest, cutting-edge technologies that will become available to ordinary people.

In addition to new energy vehicles themselves, the exhibition will focus attention on the industrial eco-chain of new energy vehicles and establish display areas for intelligent connection, energy storage battery, motor control, scientific testing and charging facilities.

Experts on new energy and intelligent vehicles, officials from relevant government departments, scholars, domestic and foreign representatives of new energy vehicle manufacturers, and other professional visitors will discuss the status quo and developing trends of the global new energy vehicle industry. They will also study the present status and future of new energy vehicles in China, promote mutual learning and build a platform for exchange of technology and information.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. Visitors can get free tickets and a chance to win gifts simply by registering their personal information on the exhibition’s site or at the official website: WeChat app: greencar-china.
