International media echoes Guangzhou prospect in 6 languages
Handelsblatt, Germany's leading business daily, published a report titled “Guangzhou, a Best Global Development Center for Intelligent Manufacturing”on June 12, as the city promoted the 2017 Fortune Global Forum in Munich, Germany.

Handelsblatt, Germany's leading business daily, published a report titled “Guangzhou, a Best Global Development Center for Intelligent Manufacturing”on June 12, as the city promoted the 2017 Fortune Global Forum in Munich, Germany. The report was also published on the same day in six Asian-pacific, American and European countries in six languages, including French, German, Urdu, Thai and Japanese. It was forwarded 320 times by multiple international media and news portals, such as Kyodo News Service, NBC, CBS, Miami Herald, Financial Post, Fox News and Marketwatch. 

The report explored the rapid development of intelligent manufacturing in Guangzhou and the policy support and foreign investment behind it. It also spoke highly of Guangzhou’s business-friendly environment and government support for the industry, hinting that the city might be the most fertile soil for intelligent manufacturing.  

According to the 2025 Made in Guangzhou Strategic Planning, 10 fields, including intelligent equipment and robotics, energy saving and new energy vehicles, biomedicine and health, are listed as key areas for further cultivation and support so as to forge an industrial cluster of advanced manufacturing enterprises in Guangzhou.
 
Taking the 2017 Fortune Global Forum and its global promotion tour as an opportunity, the city is trying to draw experience from industrial powers like Germany and work with leading enterprises around the world to make “2025 Made in Guangzhou” a great success.
 
The report is expected to direct attention to Guangzhou and introduce the city of business opportunities to potential investors and cooperation partners.
