The festival will be held at the Guangdong Performing Arts Theater and the Guangzhou Grandview Theater from May 20 to July 9. Covering over 10 types of drama including black light theater, musicals and puppet shows, the festival features 14 engaging parent-children shows from China, the United States, New Zealand, Lithuania, Estonia and other countries.

Some of these performances you won’t want to miss. Other top performances will include "The Secret Garden" and "Detective Hawk" for children by world-renowned magician Jeff Mcbride; the Broadway classic musical, "The Sound of Music," performed in Chinese; and "White Lullaby," a children 's dance drama by Lithuania’s PADI PAPI Troupe, which was nominated for Lithuania’s most prestigious theater award, the Golden Stage Cross (2014), and has been staged in a number of theater festivals. Also on tap is the popular "GABREZ SHOW" from Japan, which has sent numerous audiences screaming with laughter.

Apart from the performances, the festival will also host a series of events such as the "Dream Journey Travel Around the World Parent-child Concert," free shows for the public, a drama workshop, a drama carnival and drama-related talks. Parents and children can spend some quality time together, playing games and learning about theater together in the drama carnival to be held at Grandview Plaza on weekends or attend the talks and workshop to explore their interest in drama. Grandview Plaza can be reached by going out the D3 exit of Tianhe Sports Center Station on Metro Line 1 or Exit C of Tiyu Xilu Station on Line 3.
