JC Cartoon Art Museum

Occupying an area of over 1,000 square meters, JC Cartoon Art Museum is the first cartoon art museum in China. With over 10,000 classic cartoon artworks from all over the world on display, it is a wonderful place for cartoon art masters, as well as fans, to exchange ideas with each other.

Opening hours: 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
Admission: Please follow the official Wechat account of JC Cartoon Art Museum and then press “我要”—“预约” to make an appointment in advance.

Zhujiang–InBev International Beer Museum 

Dedicated to present beer culture, this magnificent beer museum shows the development of brewing through sculptures, photos, old machines and modern production lines. It also enables you to experience the feeling of being drunk by going through an interesting “drunk house.” In addition, people can enjoy unlimited free beer at a European-style pub in the museum.

Opening hours: 8:30 a.m.-12 a.m., 1 p.m.-4:45 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday
Admission: 50 yuan (50 percent off for students and seniors over 60)

Museum of Biology, Sun Yat-sen University 

The museum deposits nearly 1 million specimens in four specialized collections, namely, a herbarium, insects, zoological items and fossils. The earliest specimen was collected in 1808. It is the first national second-grade museum exclusively managed by a university in China.

Admission: 5 yuan

Guangdong Provincial Puppet Art Museum 


Puppetry has a long history that dates back thousands of years. From the dawn of human memories, puppetry has been a storyteller and entertainment. The museum displays puppets made by famous puppet artists Ye Wenfang, Ye Shouchun and Chen Zhiqiang. People can enjoy puppet shows in the theater.

Admission: Free
