Russian artist Canin Vladimir will hold a solo exhibition of oil painting from May 12 to May 20 at the Art64 Gallery.
After graduating from Vladivostok College of Art, Canin Vladimir taught at Jilin College of Art in Changchun province. Since 2001, he has been settled at the art department of Hunan Institute of Science and Technology in Hunan province. During his stay, he has been awarded several prizes by the local and central government for his contribution to the country, including the "National Friendship Award".
Meanwhile, He has been engaged in solo exhibitions and collective exhibitions in other countries including Russia, the US and Cambodia. Vladimir's works have been bought by many international museums and agencies as well as celebrities like former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev, Cambodian king Norodom Sihamoni, and former vice president of CPPCC Mao Zhiyong.
