French Illustrator Olivier Tallec Coming to Guangzhou
Olivier Tallec, a French illustrator best known for his work in children's literature, is about to give a speech and autograph books in Guangzhou on Feb. 29, 2012.

Olivier Tallec, a French illustrator, is about to give a speech and autograph books in Guangzhou on Feb. 29, 2012.

Tallec, best known for his work in children's literature, also publishes works in newspapers like Le Monde and Libération. In February, he will come to China to meet his fans in Beijing and Guangzhou.

Creating more than 60 illustrations, he was honored with the Hans Christian Andersen Award for illustration, Mildred L. Batchelder Award Honor and the Vlag en Wimpel prize.

His illustration book "Rita et Machin" has been sold 50,000 copies in France. Now the book has been translated to 15 languages and has recently been adapted and animated in Japan.
