Guangzhou's Sofitel Sunrich Hotel will host an exhibit of 30 photographs from Paris Match magazine, beginning next month, accompanied by special French dinners and teas.
The photo exhibit — entitled "Revealed" — is curated by Olivier Widmaier Picasso, the grandson of artist Pablo Picasso and the author of the book, "Picasso, Portrait Intime." The photos are touring other Sofitel hotels in China, as well.
To celebrate the exhibition, which will be on view at the Guangzhou Sofitel Sunrich from November 12 to December 3, the hotel group has designed events combining French gastronomic and aesthetic elements. They include an 'Un mois en Provence,' a French dinner, and 'Le Gouter en Provence,' a high tea.
Chef Eric Costille from Accor Corporate has created a tantalizing four-course set menu that immerses you in the culinary delights of Provence. The journey starts with the delicate bubbles of Domaine Chandon Rose, then follows with sea bass and two beef dishes (pan-fried tenderloin and pumpkin parmentier). The meal ends with sweets. After the dinner, you can enjoy a cup of wine in the hotel's lobby bar, Mar-Tea-Ni Lounge, where the photo exhibition is being held.
The dinner promotion is valid at the Le Grill restaurant throughout the entire month of November. The price of the dinner is RMB 988+15% for two persons and includes glasses of Domaine Chandon Rose NV and two post-dinner night cap beverages in Mar-Tea-Ni Lounge.
