Guangzhou recently launched a new ferry sightseeing line which connects three piers along the Pearl River and is designed for the travelers, especially lovers, to visit the scenic spots around the piers at night.

The new line runs between Yuexiu District's Xidi Pier, Dashatou Pier and Haizhu District's Taikoo Wharf Pier. The main feature of it is passengers can get off from any pier to have a dinner, watch a movie or travel around and come back boarding another boat on the same day with their original tickets.

Several companies in the city have run sightseeing ferries at night for a long time, but the passengers can only enjoy the cityscape on the ferry during the journey. By taking the new line, passengers can get off at any time to explore the shore. With the tickets, passengers can enjoy discounts at restaurants, bars and the cinema at Taikoo Wharf.

The ferry contains two classes priced RMB 38 and 48 respectively. Lovers' discount is available at RMB 88 for two tickets in the higher class.
