First Adidas Football Flagship Store Opens at Teemall

The world’s first Adidas football flagship store has opened at Guangzhou’s Teemall. David Beckham, the global brand ambassador of football for Adidas, and Ning Chang, ambassador of the brand in women’s training, made appearances at the launch ceremony, thrilling football fans who were in attendance.



“Today’s event is a major milestone for Adidas and for football in China,” said Colin Currie, managing director of the Adidas Group China. “Opening the world’s first Adidas football flagship store in Guangzhou, says a great deal about the maturity of the sport in China…it not only showcases our market expansion, it highlights our determination and commitment to the development of football in China.”

Satisfying the needs of football players and fans is the top priority for Adidas, according to the company. The store provides a full range of Adidas football footwear, including ACE, X and Messi with game-changing revolution technology. Fans can find gear of various Adidas-sponsored clubs, such as Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Chelsea, and AC Milan, as well as exclusive products of players like Messi, Pogba, Bale, and other superstars. The store also offers consumers the service of customized name printing on jerseys.



After watching Chinese dragon and lion dances, Marc Le Roux, vice president of marketing, sport performance at Adidas Greater China, said: “We started our business from football first, we respect the game, and we are willing to bring the best products and the most professional services to Chinese football fans. I hope the opening of this store can offer all football players the most complete platform that caters to all their needs.”

After greeting his frenzied fans, Beckham said: “I’m very honored to be in China again, and meet you all here to witness the opening of the world’s first ever football flagship store of Adidas.”



The brand new store is destined to provide nationwide football players and fans a better platform to enjoy cutting-edge football technologies and access to the full range of football products developed by Adidas.
