Guangzhou Fashion Week will be held from September 6 to 9 in the Canton Fair Pazhou Complex.

The exhibition will be hosted by the government of Guangzhou, and organized by The Economic and Trade Commission of Guangzhou, making it the only government-led garment exhibition in the city. It will cover over 40,000 sq. m of exhibition space, occupying four pavilions of the complex. Almost all sectors in the industry will beshowcased, including men's and women's wear, jeanswear, leisurewear, sportswear, underwear, wedding dresses and children's wear. The upstream and downstream industries, including design, manufacturing equipment, raw materials and accessories will be also on display. It is estimated by the organizer that foreign exhibitors will coverover 10,000 sq. m of space and that more than 600 companies from all overthe world be present.

During the exhibition, dozens of fashion shows will be held in thepavilions and the hotels nearby. Organizers estimate that so far, over 60 percent of exhibition space has been booked by exhibitors.
