The third Sino-foreign Business Forum and Purchasing Fair was successfully held in North Guangdong's Qingyuan on April 24.
The function was jointly held by China Association of International Trade, Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province, and Cámara Empresarial Boliviana China. It has received the attendance of the delegates from chambers of commerce of Malaysia, Mexico, Canada, Sweden, Singapore and Brazil, along with some 50 purchasers from South America and 30 professional service companies from Hong Kong. During the function, they had met about 200 domestic enterprises.
The function aims to strengthen the business cooperation between Guangdong, South America and the ASEAN countries, and to implement the new policy of opening Guangdong service sector to Hong Kong and Macao companies, also to promote the upgrade of Guangdong's foreign trade companies by introducing professional foreign service companies. In the function, several famous foreign companies had contracted with domestic companies to offer professional service.
The joint convention with trade forum and purchasing fair can build an efficient negotiation platform for purchasers, suppliers and service providers. It becomes a new way of international trade and serves as a stimulator of the upgrade of China's foreign trade, according to the organizer.
The organizer added that they would hold about 20 seminars later in cities like Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan and Zhongshan for the foreign service providers to meet with domestic companies.
In the function, a memorandum was signed between China Association of International Trade, Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, Cámara Empresarial Boliviana China and the organizer of Guangzhou Fair to push the cooperation between China, Malaysia and Bolivia in the upcoming Guangzhou Fair in August.
