The officials of seven consulates were invited by Guangdong Hotel Articles Association to visit Xinji Shaxi Hospitality Supplies Expo Center in Panyu on April 23.

"The output value of China's hotel supplies industry reached RMB 1.5 trillion in which Guangdong accounts for over 45 percent. So Guangdong is very important in the domestic hotel supplies industry. We hope to tie up the cooperation in the industry between China and the world. We hope the world's famous hotel supplies manufacturers get to know Shaxi, get to know Guangdong, and get to know China,"according to Zhang Hanquan, chairman of Guangdong Hotel Articles Association, in the speech to the consuls.

Zhang also invites foreign buyers to attend the upcoming China (Guangdong) Hospitality Supplies Exhibition in September Guangzhou.

The consuls expressed their gratitude after the visit, and the Indian consul asked the association to build a hotel supplies trade center in India. The association also had discussions with the consuls on promoting international trade.
